APARTMENT MOVERS HAS LESS THAN A 1% DAMAGE CLAIM RATE. THERE ARE THREE (3) OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO COVER LOSS AND/OR DAMAGES DURING YOUR MOVE.

OPTION 1 - STANDARD VALUATION:  All moves are covered by the standard liability (valuation) for the industry, which is $0.60 per pound per article. This option provides for reimbursement for loss or damage NOT EXCEEDING Three Hundred ($300.00) dollars PER MOVE, based on the depreciated value at the time of the loss or damage. This amount will typically cover the costs required to repair damaged items, but not replace them.  Certain items you have may not be adequately covered under this option and it is recommended that insurance be purchased to cover very valuable or delicate items.  Another alternative is to move the valuable or delicate items yourself instead of buying extra insurance to protect those few items.

OPTION 2 - FULL COVERAGE:  MUST BE SELECTED 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR MOVE DATE. This option provides 100% coverage based on current replacement value at the time of loss or damage, up to the dollar amount of valuation declared with a minimum declared value of $10,000.00.  This coverage is provided by Baker International Insurance an independent agency. For more information, CLICK HERE to be transferred to their website or call (800) 356-0093 ref. OPTION 3 - HOME OWNER'S INSURANCE:   Your current home owner's insurance may already provide coverage for your move.  Please check your insurance policy to see if this coverage is provided to you.  Avoid purchasing extra insurance if you do not need it.
